Everything you need to know about managing your website.

Getting Started
Step 1: Pick a Page
Click any page name in the left sidebar. You'll see a live preview of that page exactly as your visitors see it.
Step 2: Switch to Edit Mode
Click the Edit button in the top-right corner. Each section of the page will appear as a card with editable fields.
Step 3: Make Your Changes
Every piece of content appears as a simple form field:
- Headings — single-line text inputs
- Paragraphs — multi-line text areas
- Images — thumbnail preview with URL and alt text fields
Just type your changes directly into the fields. No code required.
Step 4: Save
Each section has its own Save Section button. It stays grayed out until you make a change, then lights up. Click it to save. You can edit and save sections independently.
Step 5: Publish
Saving stores your changes securely, but they won't appear on your live website until you publish. Click Publish in the sidebar, review your changes, and click Publish & Deploy. Your site updates within 2–3 minutes.
Managing Images
Click Images in the sidebar to manage all images on your site.
- Upload: Drag and drop an image or click to browse. Supports JPG, PNG, GIF, SVG, and WebP up to 5 MB.
- Delete: Click the trash icon. The editor will warn you if the image is currently used on a page.
To update an image on a page, go to that page's edit mode. Image fields show a thumbnail, an Image URL field, and an Alt Text field. Alt text should describe the image in a few words — it helps with accessibility and SEO.
Blog Posts & SEO
Blog posts are one of the most effective ways to improve your search engine rankings. Every new post is a new page that Google can index.
What to Write About
You don't need to be a writer. Here are easy ideas that drive real results:
- Neighborhood guides — "Best Laundry Pickup Options on the Upper East Side"
- How-to content — "How to Keep Your White Shirts Bright Between Cleanings"
- Seasonal posts — "Spring Cleaning Checklist: Everything You Can Drop Off"
- Service spotlights — "What Happens During Our Wash & Fold Process"
- Customer stories — "How One UES Family Saves 5 Hours a Week"
- Local content — "Living on Roosevelt Island? Here's How Free Delivery Works"
Why This Matters
- Google rewards fresh content. Sites that publish regularly rank higher than stale ones.
- AI search tools like Google AI Overviews and ChatGPT pull answers from well-written, specific content. A post titled "Same-Day Dry Cleaning Near East 66th Street" is exactly what these tools surface.
- Long-tail keywords. Blog posts rank for specific searches your homepage can't target — like "sneaker cleaning service Manhattan."
- Each post compounds. A post you write today keeps bringing visitors for months.
Blog Post Tips
- Use your real location and neighborhood names in every post.
- Mention your services naturally — don't stuff keywords.
- Keep posts 300–600 words. Quality over quantity.
- Add an image to each post with descriptive alt text.
Undoing Changes
Before Publishing
If you save a section and don't like the result, just edit the fields again and re-save. Your changes aren't live until you publish.
After Publishing
Every publish creates a snapshot. In the Publish view, you'll see your version history. Click any version to see details. Use Undo This Change to reverse a single edit, or Restore to This Version to make the entire site look like it did at that point. Nothing is ever permanently lost.
Advanced: Raw HTML
If you need to make a change the visual editor doesn't support — like adding a new link, changing a button URL, or tweaking layout — each section has an Edit HTML (Advanced) button that opens the raw code.
If you're comfortable with HTML, you can make any change you need. If not, don't worry — the visual editor handles everything most users need.
How It Works
| Update a headline | ~10 seconds |
| Swap out an image | ~30 seconds |
| Add a blog post | ~5 minutes |
| Update pricing details | ~2 minutes |
| Publish all changes | One click |
Every change is version-tracked and can be rolled back. Your content is saved securely and only goes live when you click Publish.
